87 Jeep Wrangler

I had the clutch replaced on our 87 Wrangler and now the clutch engages too close to the floor. The clutch is hydraulic and therefore I cannot figure out a way to adjust it. Any ideas? Also, I am new to this forum so I hope I am sending this question correctly!

Did you bleed the clutch?
On the slave cylinder rod was there a plastic/teflon end that was changed. If this is missing you have to push the pedal further.

Ok the 87 does not have the same slave cylinder as later models but still may need a bleeding
