4.2 i6 wheres the damn oil pressure sensor

I have an 86 cj7 and the oil pressure guage isnt working. been diggin around the oil filter looking for a sensor with no luck. can someone point me in the right direction?

My 85 had a white tube that took oil from the engine through the firewall, and to the gauge. Is yours the same? You could just trace it back.

The sender is in the side of the block on the passenger side. Its below the coil, maybe a little further back.
