2002 Jeep Cherokee transmission issues

I have a 2002 Cherokee and am having transmission issues. Seems like it jumps between first and second gear while I am starting out. after I get up to speed it runs great. Does this sound like a speed sensor problem?

No error codes. No lights going off.
