How many gallons does the 1990 YJ with the 4.2 inline six gas tank hold? Thanks a million

Depends on if it is factory....probably between 12 and 15 ...more along the lines of 15 though...

I thought they held around 18 gallons?

It could be many different gas tanks put out there.....

I thought they were 15 stock and 20 optional. I think the 20 was part of the Sahara and/or Laredo packages also.

firemanharry is right, except 20 was an option on the Laredo, not standard.
