Hello , This is my first Jeep. 1990 jeep cherokee limited,, 166.000 miles on it needs rear main seal is this a evil job !? I bought a haynes repair manual..and it seems not to have enough info has anyone have any advice? thanks

Drop the drive shafts, pull the t-case and transmission, remove flywheel, pop out old seal, install new seal. If it's a manual trans, think about a new clutch at the same time. If auto, do the front seal on the transmission to.[addsig]
