1988 cherokee seat

I have a 1988 cherokee and the seat cushion on the driver's side is ripped and cracked. The seat back is fine, as is the passenger's side. How does one go about getting the dark gray leather repaired? replaced? I have tried locating a used seat cushion on line to no avail. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

We have a local apoulstry(sp?) shop around here that spaecializes in auto's (seats, vinal tops, and such). If this is not available to you, try a furniture repairshop.
I would go with a set of seat covers (I think you can get them in leather as well), but then again, I'm not partial to leather.
One thing to make sure of, most leather seats, aren't ALL leather. They have leather seating surfaces, but the outter edges are a high class vynal.

Rob 8) :p :)

in my city we have a few diffrent apostery(sp?) shop, but i have heard they are expencive but i have yet to actually see a price from any of them because if something tears in my jeep if duct tape cant fix it, it was never broke, but i would just go with a good set of seat cover its the easy and cheap way out but if u have the money go get them reapostered(sp?)

Thanks jeeper89 and PASmokeater. I was looking at seat covers this past weekend. So I was on the same page with you I didn't see any leather ones (yet?) but I did see some fabric ones that may get me through. I agree that having it re- leathered may be too expensive for the miles and the years on the car. Thanks for your help.
