1987 XJ Questions

heyo,

were all the models wired for speakers from the factory even if speakers werent put in the hatch?
if so where does the speakers run from. I have yet to take apart my hatch but i have took off the top corner metal bracket on both sides to find no wire.

and i have an idea.
anyone know the dimensions and weight of a TJ/YJ sound bar?
I'd like to mount it in my Cherokee over top my interior light and bolt it in using the "oh sh*t" handles. what do you think about that? fit?

They should but if not run your positive and ground for the speakers from the wireing harness of the head unit through dash and side panels and into the door
