1985 cj7

Hello everyone. I have a 1985 Cj7. I had problems after using 4wd. I had it in 4L and couldn't get it out. Once I got it out I was unable to put it in park. The only way I could put it in park was in 4L. I dropped my transfer case fixed the linkage and everything it's all good. Out the transfer case back in and now still can't get it in park to get the key out. I was messing with the linkage from the steering column and still can't get it in park. It goes through everything else though. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

I cant help.. I don't know anything about the quadra trac 4x4 system in the automatic cj,s. This don't sound like a tcase problem to me, as you should be able to put it in park whether your in 4x4 or not. when coming out of 4lo, try putting it in reverse backing up a few feet then go to neutral and try shifting out of lo.
