i want to install an after market cd play in my jgc and wondered if i could hook up the factory 10 changer to it

There are a couple of ways to do this. Option 1; Find an aftermarket unit that has a DIN connector that will allow you to plug in the factory 10 disc CD changer.Option 2; Find an aftermarket unit that you really like and find an FM Modulator that has the DIN connector on the box . Either way you want to go, be sure you specify to the seller your intent for the CD changer so that they can verify compatibility.
