took the starter out and cleaned all of the connections....even clean some of the connections on the relay box...still no clicking or starting....i can get it started if i cross the solinod now...i was crossing the wrong posts before...so a new soldnod would fix the problem? i was worried that...

Yeah i agree with snitty. i run my Miller 220 stick off of a 200 foot extension cord to the dryer outlet which has a 30 amp breaker and i have yet to trip it!...however this cord is gauge 8 or 10 wire and is VERY heavy. one of the frist things i ever welded was my spring perches and shock mounts...

i had the missfortune of distroying my rear yoke on my 9inch yesterday. I was trying to pull a buddy out of a real bad hole and used a little too much of the skinny pedal! :lol: so now i am in need of a new yoke. Does anybody have a 1350 size yoke for the ford 9inch? i beleive this yoke only...

i would advise to tighten em up good! on my last wheeling trip i almost lost one of the shackle bolts cause the nut backed off! I didnt even notice it was sticking half way out until i got home! :(

lol...yeah we had a great time....the stump that i got hung up on was hooked to all 4 of my u-bolts on the pass side and every one of em was bent pretty bad.( havnt had time to make a new plate so the u-bolts point up) plus it was under 2 feet off mud and water...i wouldnt have made it out if it...

Bored Just got back from wheelin, got stuck for about an hour ontop of a tree swamp in some huge swamp under the power lines out here in new mayrland . bent up the u-bolts, back spring bolt wedged its way almost out. Sorry we didn't bring the camera, (good thing we did! it woulda gotten...

it will bolt up but you have to grind some material off of the booster. do this carefully as that metal isnt very thick. you will also need to get bigger flares on the ends of the hard lines. there is a very detailed(with pictures) write-up about this swapp on Pirates site. i have to mention...

i am a huge fan of the 4.2...i have driven jeeps with the 4.0 but it just didnt have the low end grunt that you get with the 4.2.....great motor for wheeling.. i do miss the higher revs tho..:lol:

if you had of made a rear driveshaft out of a cheerokee front DS you could of had the CV....and no need to buy another expensive driveshaft from AA or else where.....i used a stick weilder to weild my cheerokee DS back to gether and used a continuous bead....no warping and more importantly no...

i was able to get those bolt out by using a pry bar and a block! took a while tho>>

if you want i can send you some pic's of my high steer set-up for my full width 3/4 dana 44. just need an e-mail address. total cost for high steer set-up was 350.00 CAN for the arms, studs, cones and machine work. i built my own drag link out of the dana 30's old tie-rod bar!! lemme know. :lol:
