When i put TJ flares on my YJ All I needed was a right angle drill, seft taping screws and saws all to cut away unneeded sheet metal. And around 6-8 beers :)

Have you tried lighter fluid? might sound weird but I've had some good luck with it before.

Here in St. cloud Minnesota it is -12 with a -25 wind chill. Just wanlking from my jeep to the door at work the hairs in my nose froze. And tonight there is a low of -50 with wind chill. I can't wait to move back to Ohio.
