    Thank you i'll try that. Do you think it could possibly be some thing with the rearend? Because when your transmission goes out normally it starts a gear at a time not all of them going out at once right?

    So my Jeep was drivable untill a few days ago. I parked it in my driveway and it hasent moved since.     I just bought a 1976 Jeep Cherokee chief off of a guy and he had taken the front drive shaft out. When I go to put it back on which side of the driveshaft connects to the transfer case?
