leave one or two of the lug nuts loosely on when you do it to keep the tire from flying off. use a dead blow hammer.

I don't think its one particular instance that makes them "get in a huff and leave." I think these people get sick of a pattern of behavior, and in this case, this thread was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I am in the middle of a 4.0 head swap on my 79. It turns out that my 79 intake doesn't bolt up like all the write ups say it will. I got an 83 intake off ebay and its quite a bit different than the 79. I am hoping you guys can help me understand what some of these differences are. For one...

Thanks Bounty. That was the first thing I tried. I swapped out the sender today; we'll see what happens.

If the oil pressure really is dropping to zero, I certainly do have problems! I highly doubt that's the case though. Again, normal to zero back to normal again...

Thanks guys. It hasn't happened since the day I posted. Very strange since it was happening just about every day. I'll keep an eye on it and swap the sender when I get a chance.
