Looking for a Cj-7 and making a plan for a build

Hey guys. Wanted to know what you guys are running for lift and tire combos on your cj's and how they are on road but still working well off road. Which is best in your opinion 4" and 33's or 6" and 35's or bigger? Thanks

Yeah I think I'm going to go with the 7 as I'll be driving it daily and the longer wheelbase will be a better ride on road and being fairly tall the extra room will be nice.

i ran 33's on dana 35's broke 3 axels before swapping to a ford 8.8" i found from a junk yard out of a late 90's explorer ran great and a lot stronger then the 35 i found

Just asking opinions on weather fiberglass or sheet metal is the way to go when doing a build? Pros and cons to each? Thanks

Is there anyone you know of that manufactures adaptor kits for that swap?

How much work was it to swap in the 383?

I think it will all come down to what I find, if the price is right I would ultimately go with either one. Are there any particular years that had more problems then others?

I have a '94 Cherokee and when I pull the headlights on all the power goes out on the dash, could this be just the headlight switch?
