I need help with clutch and brakes cj7

Ok when I say gravity bleed, I mean after the breaks are reassembled, you open the bleeder valves until the brake fluid starts to flow out. There is no hanging of calipers and it doesn't take all night! By doing this you remove most of the air in the system and I also said to do a standard bleed...

I need help with clutch and brakes cj7

Ok, I thought you guys replaced the clutch also. I don't see how a brake job would effect the clutch. Let us know how the test drive goes.

I need help with clutch and brakes cj7

Most of the newer replacement clutch kits come with a diaphragm type pressure plate, which makes the clutch pedal feel softer. The older type clutches that use three levers on the pressure plate are a lot harder to engage.

You probably still have air in the system. Did the reservoir run out of fluid while you were changing the calipers? If so I would gravity flow the system first. Then do a regular bleed, just to be sure all the air is out.

back in trouble again, no start

Can you have someone turn the key while you use a test light to confirm your getting power to the solenoid from the ignition? You could also use a jumper cable from the battery and carefully tap the main terminal on the starter to see if it turns over.

    Brake light problems

I'd check the bulbs first. You said the third brake light is working, so the switch at the pedal should be ok. The turn signal uses the same filament as the brake light

Me and my son went fishing one Sunday morning, bear in mind this fishing in Hawaii on the coast, so we're driving in lava fields and jungle swamps to get to our spot when I hear a loud snap come from under my cj.
