Dude, there is a 390 cfm Holley four barrel on eBay for 99 bucks witha bunch of spacers an adapters. It ends in three days.
Item #: 130685266474
Put that number in your eBay search and it'll go right to it. The 390 is the carb Holley says should fit perfectly for a stock 4.2

Hi, fellow brother-in-Christ. I've been reading some of your posts and you seem pretty knowledgeable, so I've got a question. I'm looking to get a Cherokee and I saw this: Selling my 1990 xj

6" lift, 33" tires, after market rims, lots of extras

Runs and shifts great, 4wd works perfect

Body is straight

Lots of new parts done by predator 4wd,

No death wobble at any speeds including highway

Please feel free to check it out the jeep could use a couple minor things nothing that affects driving, i drive it daily.

It has a d35 rear. I wanted to get your thoughts. Should I be going for the 94-96, or do you think I'd do just fine with the 90. He also text me and said that there were no knocks, no oil leaks and no smoke and doesn't go through oil. I really want to make the right decision, not regretting my purchase. Thoughts? Thanks for any help. I am very much a newbie in this whole off-roading thing.
brakes lock up on the front driver side? new pads on front and after i wait a bit they unlock but one tap to the brakes im back locked up. also any good ideas for a front axle (junkyard/cheap) im probly going with the ford 8.8 rear and will be running 35-36s with 410s and lunch box lockers intill i can regear. should i just keep my d30 and throw a luchbox in it?
Hi, BH, I am brand new on here, but came across your posts as I was doing some research. I'm considering a 90 Cherokee XJ and want to know if you think it is a good investment? It has a D35 rear. I want to know if I put a D44 on it, would it become a great vehicle. These are some of what has already been done to it: 6" lift, 33" tires, after market rims, Lots of new parts done by a 4x4 shop, No death wobble at any speeds including highway.

Good investment for daily driver and serious off-roading? Or is getting the 94-96 still a much better choice?
Were you planning on selling them?
I am not sure how you feel about things but my jeep has been a 12 year project and I am still working on it. Take it easy for now Brother. You got more important irons in the fire. As soon as the Good Lord helps you find something, you then think about the minor stuff.....
Praying for you and your loved ones.
God bless!
