ZJ Problems

Hey guys so I’ve got a 96 ZJ with the 5.2 V8 and I’ve run into a problem. The Jeep will start up and idle until the gas pedal is stepped on then it’ll die, then it seems to not wanna start up again unless the gas pedal is stepped on and held until it turns over. It won’t stay idling unless you’re actively pushing the gas pedal to keep from dropping to 0 RPM. It just had new fuel injectors installed as 2 were bad. It’s been doing this for around 2-3 months. I have noticed that white smoke does seem to come out from under the engine and I just recently cleaned out the IAC as it was filthy as well as the throttle body. Any help would be appreciated!

When it starts and idles what RPM does it idle at?
Any missing?
White smoke like burning oil or water? Check your oil for signs of water and your coolant level and for signs of oil.
This a stock 5.2 or what is it out of?

Check your fuel pressure
Make sure you have good connection to the TPS and IAC.
Same with the fuel injectors.
