Over the weekend, We had a trail ride with 22 rigs, And we invited a number of KJ's to come along.
two stock
three with 2.5 lift with 32's, one of which was locked rear only
I will never doubt the ability of a KJ again!
There was a portion of the trail that a couple of TJ/YJ's with 33's and one on 35's need to be winched up. A member of this forum who will remain nameless, destroyed their rear driveshaft and output shaft on this trail, then a KJ on 32's, up the trail, no problem. Did not get stuck up the entire trail. I would rate this trail as a 5-6 difficulty. we got a stock KJ up it, but it was not pretty.
All in All, KJ's are pretty capabile right out of the box and I know all the other jeepers that were on this ride, 90% came up to me and said, "WOW I will never underestimate a liberty again!"
Iknow the driver is 70% of what gets you up the trail and the vehicle is 30% but most of these KJer's had only been off road a couple times before!
Also, I took some pics, I will try to get them up soon!
