the only thing you need to do before you install a lift kit on a yj is put it on jack stands... take your old springs out, install the new ones. get new tires if you want. You might need to get new wheels and or spacers. (what the person might be talking about) but only needed if your tires are making contact on the LCA. Some people like the wider look, me personally, I think it looks like sh!t, but thats my opinion
