wiper on and off all the time

i just got a 1988 jeep wrangler and the windshield wipers go on and off all the time and the radio goes on and off too

Welcome to Jeepz.com It sounds like you've got some loose electrical connections. I would start with the radio and trace the power and ground wires back, looking for a break. I'd also check out the terminals and cables going to the battery.
