82 cj7, After replacing the windshield frame, welding metal bracing to the frame where the wiper blades attatch to keep it from binding, fabricating new, stronger linkage from the motor to the blades, I hooked it all up and it seemed to be working like a charm. Then it broke again but when I took it apart and inspected it was the nut come off the shaft on the motor. I noticed it didn't have a lock washer on it so I put one on and tightened the nut down. Guess what...I broke the nut. Tried to JB weld it but it didn't hold. Guess a new motor is in place now. Sound familiar to any one....??
