This past weekend installed a 3" Black Diamond lift on my '04 TJ. What a pain it turned out to be. Never again will I purchase anything from them. There was some missing hardware and the instructions were difficult to follow at best. I chose this lift for the value, but have now can't decide if it was worth it. I like the look of the lift, but not the transfer case drop setup or having to drill a new hole for the front. First time that I ever did one of these and maybe last. Some of the issues I anticipated due to age and weather, but it was torture.
I am also experiencing two of the five fan blades striking the fan cover. Seems like one thing after another.
I live just south of Chicago. Anybody know of a reputable 4x4 shop that I can bring it in and maybe have a professional give it a once over?
Haven't even attempted to install steering stabilizer and need alignment bad. I haven't uploaded any photos, but I do have some.
