Zipper Problems

Hey I have a chance to get some 15x35x15 TSL's. I am wondering if I can fit it with my 3" b/l and 3" sus lift? I will take off the flares again if I need to. I am not worried about flexing, I am only doing street driving right now. No more wheeling till I SOA and get the motor in.

Please guys, spare me the comments about the axles.

they should fit without too much trouble...i ran 36 swamper with 3 BB and 3 suspension lift.....got a little bit of a rub on the rear fenders but nothing to major..

oh yeah and i ran em on the old dana 30 and 35  only part i broke was the carrier gears in the rear.

LOL when it comes to breaking rear end parts, I love how people put ONLY BROKE

hehe

Awesome west!!

I run 35's with a 6 in suspension lift. It's not too bad as long as you dont flex it that much. I did bend my rear body panel behind the fender the other day though haha. It was in a bit of a sticky situation with 2 tires off the ground though. Are they old tires? I thought they didn't make tsl's in 35's anymore.

Pictures of body lift

eat_sleep_jeep----I wish you lived closer, I'd like to see your jeep in action. That lift flexes like crazy.....I'm actually surprised you can fit 35s on the 10" wide wheel

I run 35's on 4.5 inches of lift, I did lengthen my bump stops and yes I can rub them at extream flex and a hard turn. I will not harp on you about running them on a 35 rear. You know already it will break it so did I and it lasted over year. I would recomend that you add a steering box support bracket. You will start tweaking the frame next to the steering box and over time you will visably see hair line cracks around the drilled holes. I have been running 35's for over 3 years now with no major problems on my dana 30...the 35 didnt last as long...darn Rubicon trail

Is that pic in your sig with your extended bump stops and 35's?? That's a lot of flex for that set up. I'm impressed.

they still make the 15/35 tsl. They are used tires though. I just hope I can come up with the money before this other guy does.

lol sorry about Mingez...but yes I have that much flex.. I have the tera flex long arm kit on my jeep with 4.5 coils. I added about 2 inch spacer at the bottom inside the coil and a longer bump stop..this allows my tire to come within 1/2 inch of the top of the fender flare..some trimming was needed up there though.
As to Bryanjeep now that I am thinking about you might have some problems with your rear tire wells and you may have to trim them back some...dont know if you did that already for your current set-up. Good luck on getting the cash and the tires!

I had to adjust the steering stops because when i turned the wheel all the way the tire hit the spring. Other than minor rubbing I haven't had any problems. The lift does flex like crazy, I'm thinking about a possible body lift so I can get more flex but I'm not sure. I want to take some wheeling pics soon so I can show everyone some action shots. But I can't go wheeling this week because I just spent 5 hours cleaning it yesterday and it has to stay clean for my prom this weekend, hahaha.
