Which XJ axle for my 95 yj, is this a good price?

Found two d44's from 1987 Cherokees for $300 and $350. Is this a good year/price? What should I look for? Any hints/tips/suggestions? Thanks. Lane

Sounds like a reasonable price to me, but I've seen the go for less. They should work fine in your YJ.

Keep in mind what else needs to be done to them in order for them to work for you, like new brakes, seals, bearings, and a re-gear.

Oh, I see in the topic XJ. Yes, I would buy them both. I know parts supplies are different all over, but I have NEVER seen an XJ D44 in a junkyard anywhere near me........damnit! :x

where are the perches on the xj as compared to a yj

Thats what I was wondering snitty, if i want to do a soa can i just leave the xj perches where they are, or do they need to be relocated, like further out or in?

The stock perches are SOA for the XJ, and you'll want to relocate them for proper pinion angle and width.
