I've got this guy with 300+ motorcraft carbs in good condition and I need to know what carb I should get a 2150 or 2100 and off of what model ford? I have a 90 YJ witha 258. What are the specs on the one I should get?

2150 off a Pinto will work just right! Look for the 1.08 mark if memory serves. tug

tug didnt you get the 1.21? if you get one from a 1975 jeep wagoneer with a two bbl 360 it will be the 1.08 size, but it will not have an automatic choke that you can use. it will have a choke that works off of exhaust heat. i am using a manual choke and it works fine. Tug did yours come with an electric choke?

Not a Ride I'd want to take again...

if you got one from a newer ford (late 70's) it should have the automatic choke, but i got the one from the waggy knowing that i would have to go to a manual choke. they work better in my opinion. http://www.starfighter.org/jeep/cj/carb/

there are a few writeups. the throttle bracket is basically an L shaped bracket with three holes. the shorter part of the L is bolted to the carb facing down. you will see exactly where to drill the holes.

which carb are you swapping from? carter?
