Years ago, my first jeep was a 65 willy. Originally it was burgandy colored, but over the years had faded to a very flat purple color, similar to a concord grape...
Grape Ape is what my friends called it.

I also have an '84 J10 (Black Jack), '73 J4000 (White spot, MIRIP), '82 Spirit going 4x4 (Spirit of the Eagle), '87 MJ (Sarge), '86 MJ (Molly), had an '83 Cherokee (Elmo), '81 Chev C20 (big Red), '70 IH Loadstar 1200 (Brown Betty), '68 Travelall (pumpkin coach)
And a host of other rigs.
