what transmission do i have?

I have a 90 cherokee 4.0 5 speed non H.O. I was wondering what transmission I could have? would it be the ax-15 or was that not an option until the HO.

Hi,

You should have the AX-15.

In most 1988 and some 1989 models, they used the Peugeot BA/10 (which was easy to identify becasue there is a large seam which runs from front to back of the transmission on the bottom of the gear case).

I believe that all 1990 models which were standard used the AX-15. :mrgreen:
