My jeep died last week, checked the fi, changed the plugs, brand new dist. cap, fuel filter o.k. ran very rough before it died, Timing maybe? new brain on the way, once it goes in , hopefully solves the prob, if not then what? any suggestions? :cool: :cool: :cool: Yuri towed me home, thanks again bro.

Have you cleaned and flushed out your fuel tank? It could be as simple as some a bit of water in your fuel. But then it could also be timing. I would make sure the fuel system is clean and free of any problems. Then go from there. You can get very good fuel additives that can treat yur fuel tank, and system. Good luck.

Try SeaFoam from Napa. Add the directed amount into the intake through a vacuum source as instructed. I used the brake booster vacuum. Put the rest in the gas tank.[addsig]

Are you sure it is a fuel problem? Try unplugging and re-plugging the Crankshaft Position Sensor located on the bell housing. My Jeep would not start one day and I changed the coil, cap, rotor and nothing. I then heard about the CPS and it worked. Hard to get to though. I hear if it is unplugged and replugged more than likely it should work.[addsig]
