The town basically fixed up a servicemans Jeep while he was deployed. Now that's community spirit.

While Shawn Murphy has been serving his country overseas, his family, friends and people he doesn't even know have been carrying out their own version of "Overhaulin'" on his 1991 Jeep Wrangler. ... Neighbors Jay and Sue Kohls initiated the project — which has resulted in donations of parts and services from six companies — in June.

Sue passed Shawn's Jeep daily while walking her dog. Knowing her husband was mechanically inclined — Jay is a fixed operations manager with Van Horn Hyundai in Sheboygan — Sue pitched the idea of "Overhaulin'" the Jeep for Shawn as a thank you for the sacrifices he made while serving his country. Sue and Jay regularly watch "Overhaulin'" on The Learning Channel — a show where mechanics borrow someone's car and make it over for them.

Jay jumped at the idea and Van Horn Hyundai's owners donated the use of the facility. After posting signs at work asking people for help, Jay quickly had a team of seven other men to assist him.

Now that Just Kicks @$$. It's always nice to see things like that.
