A sturdy plastic bag, a little larger than necessary. Throw in a silcon package, to absorb condensation. I seal the cable to bag, with a little puddy and a twist tie. Most of the computer gremlins seem to be at the connector. Many of the sensors for the computer, though not particularly water sensitve, can be sealed in the same way. The throttle position sensor, seems to be more sensitive to water than most.
Most of the problems I´ve had were at the connector, full of moisture, oxidation or oil.[addsig]
