Vibration in drivetrain on a 2 inch lift. Need help!!

Installed my new 2 inch springs on front and rear of a 2002 jeep wrangler sport along with new shock absorbers and when I went for a test ride noticed alot of vibration when throttling. Thought it might be where my exhaust pipe was hitting my passenger rear shock but wouldn't think it would vibrate the whole jeep. What's y'alls thoughts on what it might be?

I had vibrations on my TJ with only 2.5 inches of lift. Having said that, it wasn't a ton of vibration.

I'd first check to make sure that everything was secure - if your exhaust is hitting the rear shock then I'd fix that (although I agree I don't think that's the problem). If you don't find anything then I would pull the rear driveshaft out (unbolt from the axle and the transfer case). Drive around in 4WD and see if the vibration is gone. If it is then you either need to adjust the pinon angle (buy adjustable rear control arms), or install a slip yoke eliminator and a new CV driveshaft (expensive).

Thanks for the reply. I will try that to see what will work, just hoping I don't have to do a transfer case drop. Would that be just the lower or upper or both on the control arms?

You know, I spaced on the trasfercase drop. That is another option, and probably the simplest.

If you want to try control arms, then you either get new uppers and make them longer, or get new lowers and make them shorter.

Be sure the springs are seated properly.
In reality a 2in lift may be 1.5 or 3in. Depending on the mfg or if you bought the one for a hard top or winch.
Keep in mind springs do settle.
Check the U joints first. It could be a joint going bad that the lift is calling out. Also check the control arm bushings. If they are worn it may be the cause.
Cause a 2 in lift rarely causes vibes. 3 in is typically where they start.
