U-joint replacement on the vehicle?

I have an '89 YJ, and my two front u-joints need to be replaced. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace them on the vehicle? That is, without removing the axle shafts.

Have to remove the axleshafts. Once out, a Napa should change them out for you if you don't want to mess with it.

OK, I guess that strong reply says it all.

I'm actually most worried that I'll break something (e.g. snap the head off a bolt) trying to get the driveshaft out, causing more work. I guess with some patience and PB blaster or a propane torch I should be OK.

BTW, can anyone confirm that the funny bolts (that hold on the brake caliper maybe...I'm not sure...i haven't looked closely) can be removed with a 12-point standard socket?
