Trouble removing starter

Unbolted 2 hex bolts and disconnected wires from starter on my 1994 2.5 L Wrangler as per Chilton. I can wiggle the starter around and twist it a bit but I can't pull it from the bell housing. The motor bumps the oil pan. Any tips or advice? Thanks in advance.

Keep on wiggleing it , it well come out. If that fails, hook a come along to it.

Use a hot wrench if all else fails :welder:

Take the bellhousing dust cover loose.

Thanks guys. I ended up putting it on the lift at the school I teach at and using a crowbar! Roughed the dust cover up a bit in one spot but all is ok. Replacement went right in with no problems.
