Trick or treaters

Bell rang 6 times. All time high for me. I'm right off the main street in town and there is a lot of foot traffic. Can't figure out why the kids don't work there way down the side streets.

we never had any come to our house so we stopped giving it out about 4 years ago. we take our kids to the fancy neighborhoods for the king size candy now

We had a pretty steady flow. After awhile I got tired of pausing the tv and getting up so I just went out on the front porch. I sat in a dark corner so I could jump up and scare them when they walked to the door.

I think our neighborhood must be listed in some Halloween directory of people who are suckers ("suckers" get it?..ha!) and hand out a lot of candy.

Kids are driven in, bused in, and flown in on charter flights...at least it seems that way.

All I know is our Halloween candy bill keeps going up every year...and we live in an average neighborhood.

I have lived in similar neighborhoods before where there were a lot of kids and very little Halloween activity.

I don't get it...but it is fun to see all of the little goblins, princesses, ghosts, angels and super heroes.

Up here in the hills we get lucky none:funny:

i like doing the handing out but mine and my parent's house are not in neighborhoods kids go down. oh well.

There were probably 30 or so kids - the best turnout I've had in the 5 years I've lived here.

Now that I've got a kid I enjoy passing out candy more (I let my 2 year old put candy in their buckets).

Living in Utah there are a lot of LDS people. There are also a lot of church's, and they do a truck-or-treat. You park in the church parking lot and decorate your car and the kids go from car to car and get candy. I think thats where most of the kids went. That or their parents didn't feel like walking around with them for a little bit.

We were out with my little girl but where I'm at I doubt anybody would stop. I'm out in the country on a backroad.

ok, i know mormon, i just never heard that acronym. i dated a girl who was mormon in high school. i went to church with her and wally joyner went to their church. i thought that was pretty dang cool, wally joyner.
