First off hi, nice to meet everyone. I recently bought a 97 Grand Cherokee TSI 2wd with plenty of miles on it. I wasnt sure why I got such a good deal on it until the transmission stopped shifting. I replaced the filter and pan gasket (it had a bed leak someone tried to rtv it) to no avail. I've been looking for replacement transmissions, but someone told me the TSI is a one-of-a-kind and only other 2wd TSI parts will fit. It makes no difference to me if it stays 2wd or not, I just need it to move. Will any transmission from a 4.0 fit, or am I gonna be searching for TSIs? Thanks in advance, Rick
