My throtle position sensor went bad on me the other day. Jeep was reving, up and down and all around. However at the same time my airbag light never shut off, and my horn malfunctioned and started to go off as well. would the tps affect this, or is that a sign that there is something else wrong?[addsig]

have you washed your motor recently? Because once after I hosed down my engine the TPS went out. [addsig]

Why your tps went bad ?????? but your horn and airbag are very connected to each other, right behind the steering wheel there is a "slide contator" of sorts. thi has two peices thing that connect your airbag/horn and I woud guess any steering wheel mounted electronic things cruise or what ever it looks like mine can take about 8 more wires. this slide thingy when bad on my 97 (full of sand from the beach) I cleaned it out once then a week later the lights came back on I tried to clean it again no help now off to the stealer to get it fixed as I don't want to pop the bag myself, not worth the gamble. How much to fix I dont know yet sorta broke for the next few weeks. so I'm just driving without a horn or airbag. good luck[addsig]
