RE: headers

for some reason i constantly burn my pizzas, the top looks perfect but the bottom is charred. i sit it in the middle rack and put it on 400 like the back of the wrapper says, and i put it on a cookie sheet. anyone have this problem or have a clue on how to not burn my pizza!?

Try using the top rack. We put our on Aluminum foil. Might even try lowering the heat to 350...

jeep tow hook bolt size

I know some pizza's say to put it directly on the rack...

Or what kind of stove do you have? Gas, Electric?
My old apartment had an electric that sucked. burnt everything.

Always put mine directly on the rack.......but I never minded burning them - I like them that way.

sorry, not much help............................................hmmmmmmm, I'm gettin' hungry!

Opinions on thread

I am definitely just on the rack. No pizza trays or aluminum foil. No problems burning either. give it a try.

RE: boston , buried

hmmm, I've never tried putting it right on the rack cause I didn't believe it would work. Guess I'll have to try it though.

Definatly move it to an upper rack if your using a pan though.

I've also figured out that lighter colored pans will not cause it to burn as easily. For some reason all my darker colored pans continue to cook the food long after it's out of the oven too. However, I've got this light colored pan that work excellent!!

So when it's right on the rack, which position do you put the rack?? On the top, bottom, or still use the middle rack?

Career Change? Any of you do it?

Hahaha.. Sam, I just wanted to say that this is a funny thread. You crack me up. Oh yeah, I agree with top rack, no sheet. Even better, if you have a heating element exposed underneath the bottom rack like I do, put a piece of foil over the bottom rack will help. It'll deflect some of the heat.

So my final answer: top rack, directly on the rack, with no sheet or foil, but put foil over the bottom rack to deflect the heat of the heating element. Ta da! mmm MMMMMMM good.

Re: RE: boston , buried

i either put it on the rack, or if i'm at my parents house, my mother has a cooking stone. that thing works wonders. tombstone kicks ASS by the way too. and i think in my life i've cooked maybe two perfectly. so dont feel bad

I burn everything I try to make unless it involves my crock pot (Chili) or my grill (just about anything) - on those two devices i am an artist.

Get a gal who can cook or order delivery!

currupt, it just dawned on me, you're approaching this completely the wrong way, thats what girls are for, and if its just a pizza for guys night, remember the scene in gold finger when 007 slaps the chick on the "rear" and says "run along now, man talk..." you can always use that method to get you out of anything, girls hate that, they'll def leave you alone if you do something like that.

Re: RE: Girl doing jumping jacks

Well, let me just say that if you don't use the middle rack and a cookie sheet like the directions say and you end up burning your mouth, insurance won't cover it!!!

It's a joke, people, lighten up!

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Career Change? Any of you do it?

not to try and make you change or anything, but you gotta try those new digiorno personal sized microwavable pizzas. I know they might be a little small, but they actually turn out as good as the comercial says they do. They have some crazy cooking contraption you have to rig up, but it works. Plus they are pretty cheap.

ROF I am never ceased to be amazed by the amount and variety of topics we can get going in here!

I'm of the center rack no pan kind of plan. Just keep checking, when the cheese is melted it's done.

Thats my recipe too. When the cheese is melted and starts to turn brown you know its done. Man I am getting hungry. I know what I am having for dinner.

Im a pick up the phone and call papa johns kinda guy... but I also live in the dorms here at school and the one oven I have access to Id be afraid to use since everyone else in this dorm can use it too.
