TJ Running Issues

I have 98 TJ with a 4.0. When started cold it runs fine for a couple minutes. It starts to sputter at idle and backfires under load for about a minute, then it clears up and runs fine. It is not throwing a code, so I did a tune up(plugs, wires, cap, and rotor) and the problem is still there. If anyone has had this issue and knows of a possible solution, hit me up

Sounds like it is running lean when you have a cold start condition. Possible a dirty MAF sensor, or a vacuum leak. Just to throw some suggestions out there.
