TJ Engine Sway

I have a '98 TJ with a 4cyl automatic, 33 inch tires, and a 4" lift, with a rear locker, and well, I have the power/acceleration of a good sized lawn mower... I want to put a chevy 350 in there, but don't know how hard/expensive this would be? I was hoping to keep my tranfer case, but some one told me I may need a new on of those in addition to the engine + transmission, does anyone know if I can fit a chevy 4 spd auto under there? Also, can the stock Dana 30 and 35 handle this? lastly, does anyone have a chevy 350 for sale, or does anyone think a rimmer supercharger would be cheaper/easyer (about $3,000) thanx for any help! otherwise i love my tj!

I've been looking at Tj's and there seems to be a lot of good deals on the SE w 4banger like you have.

One thought I had was.....Blower ? at least a turbo.

But don't list one for ther 4 just the 6

Someone out there must make a blower or turbo kit for the 4. What about rice rocket vendors ?

I would think with a blower or turbo & tall gears 4.56 4.88 that would make the 4 crank.
