Does anyone know the total capacity of R134a for a 2003 Wrangler with 4.0?I know it is posted on a decal on top of the radiator, but mine is messed up and halfway torn off.I have been trying to charge mine,am up to 2 cans of refrigerant, and the compressor is still cycling on and off.I know this is a sign of low refrigerant, but I don't want to overcharge it.Before I put a third can in,I would like to know how much factory specs state. Thanks!

I'm not sure on the exact capacity but i think it's somewhere between 1.0lb to 1.14lb and no more than that. The high and low spec's are as follows.
A/C SYSTEM SPECIFICATION CHART

Put more in wont do any good with that leak. Most shops will charge a small fee (in hopes that you will let them fix the prob)to put in the uv dye and check for the leak. Once you find out where the leak is take it home and fix it your self.

Thanks Steel for the reply, I went ahead and put more 134 in and brought the low side up to 40psi(was at 33psi) the vent temp went down from 60 degrees(at 33 psi) to 44 degrees(at 40 psi) what a difference 16 degrees makes here in Florida in the 100 degree heat! Thanks again for the 44 degree weather inside the Florida Jeep with a BLACK soft top!
I owe you one.
