thottle body ?

Does anyone know the stock size of throttle body in a tj 4.0? 45mm? 55mm? (my guess)
Has any one got a borred out tb, 60 or 62mm? Notice any difference?

i want to say that it is 45... not totally sure.. you won't notice too much difference

I'm not really sure but I think the factory throttle body starts off at 60mm and tapers down to 54-56mm. You'll pick up a couple of HP in the upper rpm range, adding the spacer will broaden the curve and add a couple of horses itself too. Not a huge difference, but every little bit helps I guess. You will see better results from the bored out throttle body if you add it along with a good flowing exhaust and a better air intake/filter(both of which will add more power than the bigger throttle body and should be done first if all the mods aren't being done at the same time)

I was planning on getting the fipk k&n kit with a tb spacer and have my stock tb it borred out by a buddy, along with exaust and a header all at once, i hope to gain some power and increase my mpg, however the two usually dont go hand in hand.

Don't waste your money on the overpriced K&N FIPK. Just add a conical filter to the end of the TJ airtube.
