i saved your picture there sahara, also im working till 4 :p but we are gonna have a family party saturday so its not so bad :)

I am only off on Thanksgiving day this year but we are hosting the family dinner at our house so it will be a busy week getting ready for that. Every job I've had in the past we always got two days off for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This job, only one day each. :x

we are heading up north to rio frio to eat with everyone in the family. going to try and do a 30 or 40 mile bike ride while i am off that weekend and up there, also. need to clock some distances on the old bicycle so i can be ready for some of the events coming up next year.

Going to Pismo beach... Gonna camp, quad ride in the sand, enjoy night campfires & ocean air. Taking my newly adopted/rescued German shepherd.

Eat on thursday,Hang X mas lights on friday.Prepare for deer season on saturday,Drive to cabin on sunday.

What kind of biking you doing, superj? Road, mountain? I started riding again when my daughter was born. I needed something to get me out of the house. I started mountain biking but enjoy the road bike more but only when it's 50 degrees or higher. I do not like riding in the cold.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

i road bike. i was doing 8-10 a day, after work but before the kids got home but after doing a 28 mile ride with the local club on sunday, i realize i need to get in longer distances during the week to be able to keep up with the fast guys comfortably for the distances they ride. and then with the road events coming up this year all being 30 miles plus in length, i need to work my way up to at least being able to do 100 mile road race.

our ride was at 52 degrees this sunday and it was not nearly as bad as i imagined. i thought it was going to be terrible but it felt like a nice afternoon ride because we were moving along so well. hands and feet were both fine and i wasn;t wearing anything on them outside my normal shoes, socks, and anti-vibe gloves.
