I was wondering if anyone knows if the teraflex Revolver give any lift when you indstall them. Also are they needed? I'm planning on getting a Rusty's 3.5" lift would these help? The other question I had was TeraFLex has something called Z-box that work with the Revolvers are they needed in addition and what are the point of them?[addsig]

I guess they give you more articulation. They are way over priced though. [addsig]

The z-box works in conjunction with the revolver to increase droop and decrease spring twist caused by the large amount of articulation. They are worth the money to those looking for maximum articulation. If you have lockers, you can get by with less articulation and just carry a tire in the air :-O [addsig]

I have Revolver Shackles in my 93 YJ. They will add very little lift to your jeep....approximately 3/4 of an inch. The Z-Boxes are not necessary...I've been running the Revolvers for about 2 years now and haven't had any problems without the Z-Boxes. The Z-Boxes are somehow supposed to allow only one side to open up at a time and are supposed to keep your driveline angles straight. I don't know exactly how they prevent one side from opening up but I'm going to look into them a little more. If installing Revolvers, you will need longer shocks, extended brake lines and possibly a slip yoke eliminator kit with a cv driveshaft dependig on the size of your lift. You will also need a sway bar disconnect or just take it off altogether and a telescoping front trac bar would help also. If you go to Teraflex's main page and check out their catalog and also their install center, it'll explain all you need to know. Here's the address... www.teraflex.biz
