Temp Guage problems

I am having problems with my temp guage. Every other guage is working except the temp guage. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the purple wire to the temp. gauge. Make sure it's connected properly. Also, check the temp. sensor on the intake and make sure that's connected properly also.

Thanks for the help I am going to check that today, due to nothing better to do. It will have to be done again when I get done rebuilding the new motor anyway. Oh well, it is something to do.
