I'm putting in a T-18A transmission to a 401 engine this weekend for my 83 Cj-7. I've got the transmission attached to the engine right now, with an added adapter so I can run my Dana 300 transfer case. After I attach the transfer case, what kind of problems will I run into with the crossmember? I think I'll have to cut a notch for the drain plug, and maybe drill two holes for a mount, but I think that's it. Does anyone know for sure? Also, does the transmission attach to the crossmember, or does the transfer case attach? Any other advice and tips would be appreciated. Thanks a lot
