Swap window cranks for Power on 89 cherokee

Hey there from Portland Oregon!

I have a question, that I'm hoping someone can answer. Because they have done this swap before...

I would like to REMOVE the Power Windows and door locks from my 1989 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 2 DOOR and replace them with regular "roll-up" window cranks...

Has anyone done this? With out just swaping doors? I'd like to keep my current doors, as all of the paint matches on the body!

Can I remove the window cranks and hardware from one door and install them in a door that had power windows? I'm guessing that Jeep used the same doors for both models. But you never know. And are the holes all drilled for swapping in the other window crank parts?

I know the door panels are different. So I know those will be swapped out.

Also, my doors have opening "wing' windows. does this make a difference?
I have noticed that some Cherokee have them some don't. And doesn't seem to matter on the year or model.

I was planning on just finding a pair of doors and "gutting" them out and putting the hardware in my 1989's Doors. Any problem with this idea?

And lastly What years will work? Again, I have a 1989 2-Door Cherokee.

Thanks in advance!!! Pdxjeep

UP-DATE:
Well after doing some checking around here locally (Portland, Oregon), A couple of auto wrecking yards informed me that the window crank assemblies from the front doors of a 4-door cherokee will work in the 2-door, doors. But this what I was told. I did not use any 4-door parts.

I got lucky and found a pair of complete 2 door, doors for $50.00 for the pair!! So, other then having to drill out the pop rivets, used to hold the window crank assemblies and the power window motor asembilies to the door(s) and replacing them with nuts & bolts. It was a pretty straight forward operation. ALL the holes are pre-drilled in the door(s) at the factory for both applications.
Oh yeah, I had to cut holes for the window crank handles in my old door panels.
Other then having to drill out the pop rivets, it was no big deal and I had it all done in a single afternoon. And that includes the time driving out and removing the donor doors.
Hope this helps any one thinking of getting rid of their power windows.

PS- I also drilled out the 2 pop rivets holding the power door locks. Reach up and un-clip it from the lock assembly, un-plug the wires and it's been removed.
