i have two ? s . i gotta find out the legal lift height for a 96 xj in bergen county nj . i also need to know if i get fulltraction s 6" long arm lift kit and combine it with skyjackers 8'' springs ,rear shackels and asco adjustable front coil spring spacer s if that will work. know that would be pritty sweet if it worked ,so if any one know whats up let me know . oh and i already emailed both componies and of course i got no repley.

So you're wanting 8"+ from coil springs? What are you looking to do with this skyhigh jeep?

I wouldn't mess around with the ACOS, just get some lift springs and use the factory .75" spacer or 1.75" spacers to adjust the height. I've seen lift springs for up to about 12" for XJ's.

i wanna make it to fit 38 s with enough to still have flex . i just have to find out if the system i wnat will work properly

38's? :shock: That sucker is gonna be too topheavy to wheel with that much lift. Your best bet with monster meats on an XJ is to cut the fenders up and use as little lift as possible to clear the tires. Keep that center of gravity as low as possible.

What axles you gonna use to stand up to 38"s? What type of frame modifications you gonna do to keep from ripping those heavy axles and tires from the stamped subframe?

I'm not trying to rip on ya, just making sure you know what you're getting in to. I'll help in any way I can.

From what I've seen NJ and NY are very stringent on vehicle equipment requirements, good luck pulling all this off and staying legal.

ok then what about the fulltraction 6in lift with bush wacker cut outs and 33s or 35s . would that be a better choice . see i would go with skyjacker but there control arms a horrable on the road and they always get very stiff but they work great off road . and skyjackers 6in is $2500 vs fulltractions 6in $1400 and to top it off full tractions lift is a long arm kit so im sure it will flex better . what do u think

i go up to walton ny all the time and the mountains arent to forgiving so i wanna go as extrem as i can with it still being street leagel . i go there as often as i can , more so in the summer though
