anyone know how to make the factory soft tops tighter?

I guy I work with uses pipe insulation on his soft top hardware, I guess it works for him and is cheap enough :!:

tighen up the straps and if you must replace them. Pipe insulation on th eframe would make a big difference. They also make a spreader thing I read some where that can be bought to help out. Good Luck tug

How long have you had the top ??? Also remember the soft top strechecs in the summertime and shrinks in the winter time.....
