Got a question about strang whisling nosie comeing from trans or t case. it only does it when iam at idle and only when its cold. if i give it any gas it goes away. dosent cause any problems just annoying.

i get the same noise this time a year but mine sounds like its from the engine. i want to find out what it is but its usually to darn cold to check and when its not to cold it doesnt squeek? :?| :?| :?|

If it is from the engine it could be your belts slipping a little.When you rev the engine does the noise seem to go faster for a bit before it stops?

check your belt.Also could be one of the pulleys.

dont think its the belt its coming from underneath right around were the t case is. dhas anyone else ever had this problem
