I do not have a garage and not that many tools or the skills i heard if u get i think cj springs or yj they give an inch more to the tj.. should i go to the local junk yard and pick some up if so how much should i pay and if i go to a garage would they install them for me?

YJ/CJ springs are completely different than TJ springs. YJ's and CJ's use leaf springs where TJ's use coil springs. They won't work.

It must be a 96'....LOL...You know the one with the hemi v8 and the dana 60's front and rear...Also had AC I think.

I belive you are talking about Rubicon Springs, if you put them on they will ad 1 inch to your lift.

Personally, if I were to do that work, I'd want to see at least 3" of lift. You could get at least a 2" coil spacer style "Budget Boost" with shocks for close to the price you'd pay for those, unless you can find take-offs that someone is willing to give away to get them out of the garage.

It's not really that much work to drop out the old springs and swap the new ones in. I put the spring spacers on my TJ (all 4 corners) in a little over an hour. As for the alignment I don't think any of us could do that on our own unless we had the equipment and this guy certainly doesn't. I wish the Rubicon was around when I first did my lift. I would've used those springs and the 2" spacers and saved my money for a long arm kit. Actually, I probably would've just bought the Rubi since I couldn't really afford either of them anyway. :roll:

RE1334 Coil Springs Spacers 2" - Black polyurethane Coil spring spacers for 2" lift.

First of all, let it be known that the Rubicon Express Budget Boost is not what you were talking about. Jeep Rubicon OEM coils will give you the 1" of lift...

Anyways, the Rubicon Express Coil Spring Spacers are the much better choice of the two. No, you really don't need anyother parts besides the coil spacers, but I would HIGHLY recommend new shocks (the stock ones just arent built for the added length and lift) and perhaps extension bump stops.

While your at taking the coils off, it wouldnt hurt to replace the stock coils with the OEM stock Rubicon coils for the added 1" of lift (and at this point, you'd DEF need new shocks).

Don't forget getting an alignment done after installing all these new goodies...
